Patients coming in between the ages of 6-14 benefit the most from dental sealants because it offers protection from cavities and decay through the cavity-prone years.
How long do Dental Sealants last?
With proper care and hygiene, dental sealants can last for up to 10 years. Coming in for regular checkups will allow the dentist to inspect the sealants for chipping or wearing and can replace them as needed.
